An interesting study from Canada has just been released looking at whether the sexual orientation, race or gender of an applicant for a leadership position changes the way people evaluate that candidate.

This is an interesting study in that the researcher from St Mary’s University in Canada had 297 recruiters presented with a series of pre-recorded employment interviews, job descriptions and CVs, together with a set of employment criteria or job specifications to see how they would evaluate the candidates for a leadership position.
