One of the hot topics in academic research, particularly around business performance, is the concept of entrepreneurial orientation. A number of previous studies have shown that entrepreneurial orientation is a critical ingredient in overall business performance for most organisations.

The new (2019) study looking at the impact of the five entrepreneurial orientation dimensions on business performance, and whether or not socio emotional wealth factors have an impact on business performance, has been conducted on a sample of 609 businesses by researchers from four universities in Spain, Portugal and the United States.
