The AIR (American Institutes for Research) have produced a large and comprehensive review of research, however what follows is a summary of the 13 main influences on learning.

According to the authors , the idea that nature and nurture is behind learning and development holds true. We are products of both our internal physiological and external social environments.


The authors discovered that our genetic make-up manifests itself and is influenced by the environment and the context.
